Fischerscope® MMS System - Photo

The Fischerscope® MMS® is a compact and extremely versatile desktop multi-function measuring system with data archiving and measurement data processing capabilities. The modular design allows the user to combine and configure different test methods.

We offer 6 basic modules:

Permascope® Magnetic Induction-non ferrous coatings on non ferrous substrates. Eddy current-non conductive coatings on non ferrous substrate. Anodised coatings on Aluminium,
Nickelscope® Hall effect-EP Nickle on electrically non conductive or non ferrous substrates. Thick non ferrous coatings on iron or steel
Sigmascope® Eddy current-copper on epoxy, copper in through holes in PCB's. Zinc on steel/Nickle on steel. Electrical conductivity of non ferrous materials.
Duplex Combined magnetic induction & eddy current to measure paint/zinc on steel (galvanizing, automotive coatings etc)
Betascope® Beta backscatter practically anything on anything with a seperation of at least 5 atomic numbers.

The modular design allows the upgrading of the instrument for further measurement methods at a later time. The Fischerscope® MMS® is suited for coating thickness measurements and material properties evaluation. It can be used for manual sampling inspection as well as for process control and round the clock monitoring of production processes.

    Applications -

Owing to the variety of different measuring methods the MMS® offers solutions to numerous applications in plating shops, the PC-board manufacturing process, the automotive and aerospace industries, etc.

    Features -

    • Modules for different applications
    • Large area LCD display and softkeys for an interactive dialogue with the user
    • Tactile feedback keyboard
    • Uniform operation for all test methods
    • Easy to learn measurement, storage, evaluation, and documentation tasks

X-Ray Fluorescence Analasys/Thickness Gauges XRF XDL - Photo

The XRF XDL defines nondestructive and contact free measurement of thickness and alloy composition of virtually any metallic coatings on any substrate material as well as material and solution analysis using the X-Ray fluorescence method.

Five instrument models which differ in measuring table and X-Ray head design are available:

    • Fixed test piece support plate with removable insert and fixed position X-Ray head
    • Manual X-Y stage and fixed position X-Ray head
    • Manual X-Y stage and motorized Z-axis travel X-Ray head
    • Programmable X-Ystage and fixed position X-Ray head
    • Programmable X-Y stage and programmable X-Ray head Z-axis travel

The XDL® features a unique method for distance correction of measurements. This DCM method (Distance Controlled Measurement) corrects automatically the intensity differences of fluorescence spectra at different measurement distances. Using a XDL® with fixed position X-Ray head this feature offers the possibility for simple measurements on test pieces with complex geometry and different measuring areas distances.

    Hand Held Coating Thickness Gauges

    Deltascope® MP10 and Isoscope® MP10 - Photo

    Features:

    • All plug-in type magnetic induction probes can be connected (Deltascope® MP10)
    • All plug-in type eddy current probes can be connected (Isoscope® MP10)
    • Corrective and master calibration for 1 application are stored in the connected probe

These low-priced instruments should be applied if full data storage, data evaluation and output capabilities are not required, but measurements have to be made on test pieces with varying geometry and coating thickness range.

A variety of different probes are available, adapted for numerous applications. The individual probe is automatically recognized.

Application specific calibration parameters are stored in the probe, therefore the instruments are immediately ready to measure after connection of any probe.
