ECHOTRACE is used as a couplant for ultrasonic testing in contact testing technic.
ECHOTRACE is a gel and thus the ideal choice for all applications in contact testing technic. Compared to the use of oil, grease or water ECHOTRACE provides a better acoustic coupling. ECHOTRACE shows no drip-off and is therefore recommended for overhead applications, too. The product is non-agressive and thus painted surfaces and plastics may be treated with ECHOTRACE without any damages. ECHOTRACE can easily be removed with water without leaving any residues.
