The newly designed RDG 3000 FPA digital flaw detector is equipped with a high luminosity screen for A-scan, B-Scan, and C-Scan displays. RDG 3000 FPA interfaces with the operator via dedicated keyboard and video displays arrayed around the special waveforms panel.
The single channel and 16:64 PA embedded module ultrasonic unit has been designed for a wide range of non-destructive inspections. Dedicated software for railway applications enables RDG 3000 FPA to analyze solid railway axles using a rotating probe with up to 5 single crystal transducers designed for longitudinal waves generation with different angles of incidence.
